A Child Is Lost And Crying On The Street. What Happens Next Will Surprise You.

ABC staged a social experiment where a child appears to be lost and crying on the sidewalk. Here’s the surprise: over a hundred people walked by and nobody helped the poor kid. He did finally meet his guardian angels, but it makes you think about how we never notice when others—even someone as defenseless as a child.

I believe your thinking is wrong.
I am an older man. If a child was just sitting on the street I would notice but would not approach them. In this day and age I would be fearful of being accused of some sort of perversion and labeled a sex offender. I would even consider it to be a set-up for just that purpose. Paranoid? I think not. I walk in a local park. I passed a young lady maybe maybe 13 years old. I said good morning as we crossed paths. She immediately headed for a man and woman and spoke to them. They watched me everywhere I went until I left.
On the other hand, if it was a youngster who asked for help I would keep my distance, ask the problem and call a cop or 911 for assistance.
