Women want to see models that look like them (whether they’re a size four or a size 20). The body diversity movement is on the rise with models like Ashley Graham and Barbie Ferreira posing for mainstream brands including Forever21 and Aerie. So in addition to admiring Karlie Kloss and Gigi Hadid in print, you can add these plus-size posers to your #WCW list.
1. Clementine Desseaux
Clementine’s freckled face made headlines back in 2015 when she landed a campaign with Christian Louboutin’s beauty line. In addition to her modeling work, you can find food porn from her travels around the world on her Instagram feed.
2. Ashley Graham
Ashley was the model chosen to debut Forever21’s first-ever plus-size activewear campaign. She also collaborated with Addition Elle to create her own line of lingerie for women with bra sizes from C to H, further proving that sexy has no size.
3. Barbie Ferreira
Barbie is a model on the rise. At just 19 years old, she posed for the #AerieReal campaign without any retouching. That kind of confidence is rare in a teen!
4. Gabi Gregg
You probably know her as Gabi Fresh on Instagram. The plus-size blogger has created a following that led to a career in fashion design. She’s collaborated with Swimsuitsforall.com to create a line of chic swimwear for women sizes 12 and up.
5. Mercy Watson
This Australian model starred in a campaign for David’s Bridal that highlighted a woman the same size as its average customer—size 14.
6. Melinda Parrish
Melinda is the plus-size model you need to follow for daily motivation. On her Instagram, you’ll find inspirational quotes like: “Your body is not the problem,” and “Supporting another woman’s success can never dampen your own.”
7. Marquita Pring
Marquita is one of the founders of ALDA women, a coalition of models seeking to empower women of all sizes. You can also see Pring posing as the face of plus-size fashion line Junarose.
8. Tess Holliday
Tess may have been the biggest name in modeling in 2015 (plus size or otherwise). At size 22, she’s scored the cover of People‘s Body Issue, starred in a campaign for H&M, landed a major modeling contract, and spearheaded the #effyourbeautystandards campaign on social media. Best. Year. Ever.
9. Candice Huffine
Candice’s most notable modeling moment came in the 2015 Pirelli calendar, where she was the first plus-size model to be featured. Since then, she’s starred in campaigns for Rachel Roy Curvy and Elena Miro.
10. Robyn Lawley
Robyn was the first plus-size model to appear in Sports Illustrated’s Swimsuit Issue (#boss), and now she’s a designer, too. Lawley created her own line of suits for women that ranges from size 10 to 20.
11. Tara Lynn
Lingerie is Tara’s specialty, so she’s no stranger at baring her body for the camera. She’s posed for brands like Addition Elle, Forever21, H&M, and Junarose. Tara’s also been featured on the covers of international magazines like Elle and S Moda.
12. Denise Bidot
Denise rose to fame after she was featured in an unretouched swimwear campaign for Swimsuitsforall. She’s also walked the runways at New York Fashion Week and posed in the nude for the camera a few times. Her motto: #thereisnowrongwaytobeawoman.
13. Jennie Runk
Jennie has starred in campaigns for H&M in the past, but what we love about her is the totally honesty she delivers on Instagram. On her feed, you can see unfiltered makeup shots (closeups!) and her behind-the-scenes snaps.
